🎨Development
Fortune 501 was initially made in 48 hours for the Micro Jam 36, with the themes 'Fortune' and 'Random Generation', interpreted as working for a Fortune 500 company that didn't quite make the list and randomly generating employees to fire and hire. We had initially put extensive planning into making a game about hiring monsters, disguised as humans, which got scrapped at the last minute.
Development has certainly been a fun and windy road, taking 2 extra weeks and 3 sleepless nights over the deadline, all to make a game that is still buggy and unfinished: one with a lot of heart and love put into it, and I would do it all over again if I had the chance.
